An alcoholic beverage usually made from malted cereal grain (as barley), flavored with hops, and brewed by slow fermentation

I enjoy drinking beer and brewing beer. You can usually find me ready to talk about beer.

I have been a home brewer for over 5 years, and enjoy to range of difficulty and the resulting opportunity to experience the fruits of my labor. My friend Daniel Virag and I started brewing small batches and we soon shifted to kegging and so forth. It has been an incredible journy of discovery. Along the way we were joined by his father John 'Jack' Virag. I think once I started home brewing my beer palate really began to open up. As I became more familiar with the ingredients and techniques, I had a greater appreciation for more subtle flavors and aromas. I am by no means a master brewer or beer snob, but I am a Beer Adventurer. I find the craft facinating, and hope to one day contribute some lasting bit to the industry.

Here I plan to document my Beer travels and provide reviews and insights. I will post up brewing recipes and techniques as well as an occasional story or two. I have plenty of trials and error recipes, as well as a sure fire winners with our 'Summer Cream Ale' and 'Half Assed Abbey'. Whaterver you are looking for, I hope you find it here.

I am also available to provide training and insight on general brewing techniques and concepts, as well as assit you with setting up a home brew station or dispensery. I have built and updated a nuber of home kegerrators and would be happy to share my knowledge and experience.
